This web site is for students in classes taught by Gerald L. Stevens, Ph.D. (a.k.a. “DrKoine”) at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. The site has a dual purpose: (1) to provide personal information about Dr. Stevens for his students to get to know their professor in more dimensions than just a classroom, and (2) to support his seminary teaching. The personal pages include background, family, photography, and music. The professional pages include Dr. Stevens’s published textbooks, the courses he teaches with related files for downloading, travelogues of educational travel videos, podcasts, and blogs. To contact Dr. Stevens by email, click the “Email Me” link at the top of the page.
The “Convenient Links” below provide two resources. One is quick access to one of the most downloaded files in all of Dr. Stevens’s download file archive, the example term paper formatted according to Turabian, with accompanying discussion of the formatting issues in a convenient pdf document that is fully bookmarked for all discussions. The remaining links are for those visiting this website causally who wish to know more about the seminary’s mission and ministry.
