Many have asked the relationship among the four Greek grammar texts I have published. Here is a brief explanation. The first text was actually two publications, New Testament Greek and New Testament Greek Workbook. Each went through two editions (Lanham, MD: University Press of America, 1994, 1997). This grammar was written as a combined beginning and intermediate text, with the workbook intended for the beginning student. Over time, dividing this combined work into two separate texts, a primer and and intermediate grammar, became desirable.
The two later publications, New Testament Greek Primer and New Testament Greek Intermediate, take the essence of the original publication and divide the material into two texts (Eugene, OR: Cascade Books; Primer 2004, 2007; Intermediate 2008). Both new publications include exercises within the text, eliminating the need and expense of additional workbooks. Grammar discussion has been updated and improved. Additional material and appendixes enhance the publications.
